Child care can determine whether an adult client can work or attend school. Use the Ohio child-care search linked on the county page to find participating providers. Confirm openings, hours, and transportation with the provider before treating care as arranged. Keep a submission receipt. Do not assume care used before an approval is covered.

Eligibility
Publicly Funded Child Care screens household income and work, school, or another qualifying activity. The Choice program is described for families at 146–200% of the federal poverty level who were denied Publicly Funded Child Care only for income, with full-time qualifying activities for all caregivers.
Intake
Complete the signed JFS 07200 application with income, child-status, and activity documentation, plus the selected provider’s name and address. Submit at a Neighborhood Family Service Center or mail to 1641 Payne Avenue, Suite 200, Cleveland, OH 44114.
