Forged in the Fire facilitates offender accountability programming designed to address the demand that fuels commercial sexual exploitation. Our Sex Buyers Education (SBE) programming is court-aligned, trauma-informed, and focused on accountability, behavioral change, and prevention of re-offense.
We deliver this programming with the explicit purpose of disrupting demand for commercial sex. By addressing and reducing the buying of sex, we directly undermine the economic incentive that fuels trafficking and exploitation. When demand is reduced, traffickers lose the financial benefit that drives the coercion and abuse of women and girls in commercial sex.
